What happens when one company with 1000’s of employees relocates to another city and state?

Usually a corporation contracts with the parent company to provide these services.

And they hire local people as independent field reps on a fee per service basis to do the local legwork.

Relocation Consultant wanted. We are seeking Independent Contractors who will help new employees and their families relocate to the ____________ area. The Independent Contractors’ responsibilities are to research suitable apartments/rental homes and provide community resources. Projects range from a ½ day to 2 days of accompanied assistance.

This is a part-time, fee-for-service Independent Contractor position. Projects are sporadic.

Valued Qualifications:
Good communication skills
Strong commitment to customer service
Research abilities
Working computer knowledge
Flexible schedule
Personal or professional relocation experience
Knowledge of the area
Knowledge of rental communities

Independent Contractors must have a cell phone, a reliable automobile, and access to the Internet.
