New flutes retail for up to $2500. She repairs and sells old flutes for up to $1900.
To repair and return flutes or piccolo’s she charges $60 per hour and doesn’t estimate repair costs until after having the instrument in hand. A complete overhaul can take up to 25 billable hours ($1500).
She serves customers out of her North Carolina home and gets most of her customers through her website FluteStar.com
