I know a fellow who runs what looks like the most rinky dink tax service imaginable.
It’s not a franchise, just a solo operation.
He lives 35 miles from his office.
Yet he makes enough money from that one little office in the “run down” part of a “run down” small town to live all year… except when he was getting started.
Then he’d have to work during the summers.
I find people like him rather frequently… they’re working to build their own business, they’re trying to stay focused but they need some cash without a long term commitment to a “career”.
Or they need fast money while they’re waiting to find a career.
