You get a book.Maybe a friend suggested it.
But you read it and now go… why did I do that?
Retention and ability to learn can increase if you have a strategy for reading books.
Here’s a “Mind mapping” strategy for reading any book, magazine, or newsletter…
1. What is your purpose in reading?
2. What summary does the editor give (Flap and cover)
3. What are keywords that emerge to hang the content on?
4. Read for what matters to you.
Here’s how to do that visually…

I was introduced to mind-mapping by Tony Buzan way back in 1993 when I bought his book “Use Your Head”. That was a major turning point in my mental development. Don’t let the unassuming title of that book deceive you. Fact is, most people DO NOT use their head. Use it, by following the techniques that Buzan describes, and you will see profound changes in the way you perceive things, and as a result, your life.

Wow, I’ve been using this technique for years, but that’s the first time I’ve seen someone with a video on the subject!
