Commission Junction Makes It Harder For Small Affiliates

August 7, 2006 by Chuck | 0 Comments

Commission Junction has taken a move that makes perfect sense in most instances but which makes it difficult for small affliates hoping to get started, and bloggers.

If, for whatever reason, you can’t use javascripts on your website or blog, it just got harder to use commission junction.

Their latest ad campaigns require Java Script to be used, not traditional HTML Links.

This allows for automatic updates, eliminates “out dated links” and lets updates be made automatically from the server side.

When inserting Java Scripts causes problems though, such as google pages, certain blogs, craigslist, etc. the smaller affiliate is at risk.

One solution: Click “Yes” for the “For use in email?” box to get traditional html links.
