Retirement Calculations

nullJust for fun, let’s do some math…

Did you know that if you work until you’re 65, and live until you’re 85, you need $240,000 saved up just to “get by” on $12,000 a year? Do you know where you stand right now?

1. Subtract your current age from 65 (85 - ___) =… That’s the time you have left to save money.

2. Multiply what you’re saving now per year by this figure… Assuming you earn a conservative interest rate (historically good investments only yield a 3% spread ahead of inflation), is that enough money to support your lifestyle in retirement?

Just a thought.
