Major Newspapers Jumping In Bed With Yahoo

Major Newspapers chains seeing their revenues dwindle precipitously are are jumping on board with Yahoo.

Yahoo hopes the joint venture will provide unique content and more exposure for their HotJobs.com job listings.

Newspapers hope to get a share of the revenue from the contextual ads Yahoo will display with their content.

And Yahoo’s penetration into local markets will increase as a result of the fresh local content provided by local reporters from across the nation.
