TeachersPayTeachers.com is a new website that allows educators who’ve invested their personal time creating curriculum and teaching materials that work and have proven it in their classrooms can now profit from their hard work.

Often educators are torn. They love teaching. They are innovative. They invest long after school hours to develop the materials they need for their classrooms. Their average hourly wage as a result plummets. So they’d like to make more money.

In the past that meant changing careers… going in to insurance sales that required an education factor was one alternative.

Some times teachers go to outfits that sell products direct to consumers… one famous example is “Where there’s a will, there’s an ‘A’”.

But many innovative curricula are fashioned for a “niche” that only another teacher facing a problem might appreciate. They’d flop on the general market or would be perceived flops.
This website offers another alternative for those teachers who don’t have “angel” entrepreneurs willing to take a curriculum from nowhere to stardom.

TeachersPayTeachers.com is designed to help ordinary teachers who’ve found a great way to teach to a particular need an outlet for their curriculum.

For teachers who are essentially “working from home” at night without pay, this can be a way to create an additional income stream for the work you’re alerady doing.
