Flexibility Technology Drive Boom In Home Based Business

More people are using their corporate careers to “know themselves”, identify niches they wish to pursue, then pursuing them at home.

Lisa Wynn, founder and president of Artisan’s Cup, does business around the world. Not bad for a company that is based out of her Greensboro home.

“There’s no advantage to having an office; no one comes to see me,” Wynn says.

    Chuck,

Great post! Today’s technology has made working from home a viable option for everyone. Many of my students have worked in the real estate industry and saw how much money there is to be made, but didn’t want to commit to that work environment. Being able to communicate via email and other electronic means is allowing people to expand their business well beyond their local areas – without traveling! I expect the trend towards home-based businesses to continue to grow because it allows people to live life on their own terms.

    Warmly,

    Russ Dalbey
