I recently saw this ad and responded because I thought it’d be a great scam to write about… Here’s the ad:
I routinely make $500 to $1,000 per day in a niche advertising business that I have developed and perfected over the last 2 years.I will teach you all the details of how to do the same at NO CHARGE TO YOU.
email me and I will reply with a complete training manual so you can get started immediately.
Guess what? It wasn’t a scam at all! Far from it.
Instead I received by email Anthony Norris’ 15 page Adobe Acrobat format manual on how to sell Employee Appreciation Cards. Employee Appreciation Cards are plastic like a credit card but are sponsored by advertising from locally owned businesses who want more customers.
You’ve probably seen plastic FUND RAISING cards where the businesses get free advertising and the kiddies sell the plastic cards for $10 apiece and the school keeps $5.
That’s doable but the Employee Appreciation Card is more efficient. 700 Employee Appreciation Cards can yield over $2000 profit with a week’s prospecting.
Mr. Norris sells these cards so if you follow his advice, he naturally hopes you’ll purchase them from him!
This manual is chock full of excellent advice.
The main one is … keep it simple… make the easy sales… don’t beat your head against the wall trying ton CONVINCE people. Either they give you the check or they don’t. This is exactly the approach my friend who I call “Sales Warrior” takes.
