Blogger is a very easy to use and free blog service, but the templates DO leave something to be desired.
Also, since the internal blogger police are cracking down on every blog their computers tell them is a “spam blog”, it’s the variations you’ve done to your template (among other things) that signal your work isn’t computer generated.
This isn’t too important if you’re blogging about the travails of your pet cat, Fluffy, but it if you are blogging for cash and trying to target high paying words with meaningful content, watch out.
An internal blogger review could take 48 hours or more stopping you from posting.
Readers also instinctively note “Boring Blogger Template” and while they may read your content, I think you’re more likely to get future readers by having a custom template.
