When I was a baby banker, I used to go to meetings with “famous” Wall Street stock analysts and look at everything that they did. I’d think, I could do that. And then I’d think, better. But, really, the process to become a Wall Street stock analyst is barely better than that of Anne Hathaway’s character in The Devil Wears Prada. Lots of coffee-getting and midnight conference calls, for years really, before you ever set finger on a keyboard about to issue a major report.

And now. I blog for Blogging Stocks and I’m, well, almost on par with those Wall Street big names. I sit in on the same calls and write about the same companies. It’s less formal and a heck of a lot wittier and, oh yeah, I only get coffee for myself.

Sound like fun? No, I’m not promising you millions (of dollars) but I *am* promising you millions (of pageviews).

If you are a great writer, who really knows finance, and has a few hours in the middle of each market day, well, you’re perfect. Reply to this posting with a brief (and passionate! and punchy!) biography and two sample posts, between 100 and 300 words each, about a widely-held stock (you may refer to those we currently cover on Blogging Stocks, or select another one you’re in love with).
