Is The American Dream Dead?

The supposed “Center for American Progress” released “studies” showing that the American Dream is “dead”.

The “Promised Land” for rising from rags to riches is socialist Europe, not capitalist America. By that the study meant rising from the “very poor” to the “very rich”.

But the facts documented in World Magazine article Better Off French indicate that “poor” Americans are better off than the “average” European at least in material goods measured chart above.

Only Luxembourg could compete with an American state for prosperity.

If the 15 states of the European Union were lumped together and compared to an American state, they wourd rank ahead of only 4 U.S. States in terms of pre capita Gross Domestic Product.
