Affiliate Internet Marketing & Trafficswarm

May 15, 2006 by Chuck | 0 Comments

There’s a continuing groundswell of interest in affiliate/internet marketing.

When you can sign up to sell popular products for free, who wouldn’t be interested?

The problem with affiliate/internet marketing is getting traffic.

At that point, free and low cost traffic sources like Traffic Swarm look very attractive.

In particular, if you’re looking for new affiliate/internet marketers, Traffic Swarm attracts more than it’s share.

The million dollar question is “does Traffic Swarm work?

That’s a bit like asking if “print newspapers work”?

If they didn’t “work” they’d be out of business.

The question is whether they will work for you.

Jason Mangrum made a good point in his ezine recently on this subject.

He encouraged people to use their “Free” Traffic Swarm account’s option to rotate 10 ads as a way to hone in on what products/services you offer as an affiliate/internet marketing person sell well for you on that service.

It takes some work and that’s where most plans die!

But basically instead of promoting 10 things, you promote 1 thing up to 10 ways and have different tracking links for each offer. Ideally you’d have 10 different landing pages so you’d know which headline combo produced the most conversions, not just lookers.

This will tell you which headlines work best for you and accomplish the best results.

Do this several times until you have a “stable” of winning ads and when it comes time to invest money in advertising, you’ll know whether you can profitably upgrade to “pro” level at Traffic Swarm or invest in other paid ads, like Exact Seek’s Top 10 Search engine placement or, of course, Google Adwords.
