CBS: The Ethanol Solution – Ethanol Business Opportunities

Green Gold - Ethanol
Our local talk radio is abuzz with CBS’ piece on THE ETHANOL SOLUTION which ran on 60 Minutes. It’s an inspiring story of how Iowa farmers pooled their life savings to start creating alternatives to oil…. it almost brough tears to my eyes. Here were people who weren’t waiting for the government to bail them out or find a solution. They found it themselves.

The product they hope to see predominate is E85, 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.

They created the Pine Lake Processing Plant

Every one who saw the piece is in favor of finding ways to move the US to E85 if there were real savings.

The only folks who aren’t happy are the Oil Companies who want to keep their stranglehold on the American Wallet and who prefer the morass of environmental bureacracy to real competition with other energy providers.

The news article only dealt with the distribution of ethanol through the current distribution system… they never think of new distribution systems largely because they’re socialists I suppose. Socialists would rather have a public water system that they can control than to see everybody have a well even though in each scenario, everyone would have water.

It’s the same with fuel.

Some individuals or communities may be able to provide their own ethanol for E85 and not care if the rest of the country makes the switch.

But Paul Harvey’s column Saturday mentioned Dogwood Energy in Tullahoma, TN who claim that 100% ethanol can be made for 75 cents per gallon.

Other’s deny this, but the company…

1. Sells information and kits for creating fuel ethanol and bio diesel

And

2. Who are seeking home based or farm based representatives for their products on a local level.

Defund Terrorism, use American Ethanol!

Beware – Dogwood Energy scams their customers! They used to sell wood fuel pellets – they didn’t deliver or refund their customers. They used this money to produce their stills to sell to other customers! The owners of this company have had multiple internet business scams and this ethanol still bit is just one more to add to the list.
