Ethanol Nation & How To Make A Junkyard Still

April 24, 2006 by Chuck | 0 Comments

The high prices of gasoline and a Bill O’Reilly commentary on how the big fuel companies are “hosing” us (excuse the pun)… sent me looking for some old articles on topics like “Ethanol Nation or How the United States Can Become Independent of Petroleum Products in Three Years”

O’Reilly noted that

the country of Brazil will stop importing oil next year - they’re completely free of OPEC because the government in the 1970’s ordered that every car sold in that country run on ethanol. Brazil made that happen, the USA will not. We the people are paying dearly for that dereliction, and we will continue to pay….

It’s not that we could’t go to ethanol or biodiesel.

It’s not that it wouldn’t be a key strategy in defeating terrorism which … these days at least is funded by petrodollars.

It’s because the gasoline business in the U.S. is no longer entrepreneurial, it’s a government protected monopoly with too much invested to allow anything to touch their profits.

Anyone out there considering these alternative fuels?

Could converting vehicles from petroleum to ethanol be a home business opportunity soon?
