Marty asks… “Chuck are you still promoting local sales networks as a viable opportunity?”

Marty, thanks for asking.

I’m still very optimistic that people can make excellent money by providing local firms with internet advertising and driving traffic to the site by using grassroots advertising.

I believe that using the “guerilla marketing techniques” taught by folks like Skip Rosell can make this work.

In fact, Skip has a special offer where 41 of his reports are available now for $25.

While they are each designed as free standing profit opportunities, many can be used to also promote your local ad website… such as the “Business Card Referral Program” (free at the site), “Mini directories”, post card service profits, welcome services, local ebooks, and others can all tie in to make a local website a huge success.

These programs work BEST though if you have a good sales personality and enough time.

Alternatively, you should hire good sales people.

But please don’t make the mistake I made.

I had several ventures running and decided to add this one. I just completely overcommitted and wasn’t doing anything well.

So I had to cut back on many activities. The business ventures I’m working with now are my wife’s business and some low time commitment internet ventures.

Don’t be like many entrepreneurs who overcommit because the potential is huge… That’s what I did and it was a big mistake.

If you can focus on local advertising at least until you get a client base, do so.
