Can Entrepreneurship Be An Answer For Outsourcing?

Bottom Line… do companies see outsourcing as an easy way to save money and improve the bottom line when they really need to be looking for more profitable markets, more efficient opertations, and new markets?

Yes.

Will they?

Probably not.

Here’s why companies start as capitalistic and become monopolistic… and what needs to be done.

Remember: the only entrepreneurship you can control is your own!

From Nashville Business Journal

An entrepreneurial organization is proactive and views the external environment as full of new opportunity. Traditional corporations are defensive and view the outside world as a series of threats to the core business.

So how does a corporation change its culture? Therein lies the rub - and the reason why entrepreneurship is not likely the answer to outsourcing. It is difficult to make even small changes in corporate culture. Making the fundamental changes and becoming an entrepreneurial organization is nearly impossible.

So what’s the solution? Real entrepreneurs building and transforming our economy is the best hope.

The best answer to the outsourcing of jobs is the creation of new jobs here at home. Entrepreneurs have been the only real source of job growth in America over the past 20 years. And given that employment has reached record levels, they aren’t doing such a bad job.
