Please note: since this was written, Blogger.com has initiated anti blog spam strategies that make it difficult for even legitimate bloggers to get started if they are blogging about popular blogspam topics… so even a Ph.D. in pharmacology blogging about his research for example will get slammed and have to manually request to be “unlocked” because of the topic which is used to promote popular prescription drugs online.
Find a topic you love, blog on it, use adsense, and try things like blogsvertise to build added revenue.
I’m pretty cynical. But when I saw the guy cranking out $500 per day in Clickbank revenue, I wanted to learn more.
I’ve seen many claiming much more, but to me this sounded more “realistic” than some of the other clickbank screenshots we’ve all seen.
I do believe good niche sites (blogs or not) on subjects related to anything BUT high competition adsense keywords can make $50 to $300 per day routinely.
So this sounded “doable”.
And I paid the $47 for Blogging to the Bank.
Here’s what I found by way of scatter brained notes.
-Blogging to the bank is not a manual for purists.
By purists I mean people who blog for the sheer love of topic… self-taught (usually) experts who want to make money as a by-product of their passion.
Blogging To The Bank is more predatory. Some of it’s techniques you may consider outright cheating in fact.
It’s about how to use free niche blogs to generate adsense and affiliate commissions.
I won’t spill the beans on the “secrets”, but he does “deliver” on his promises, though not at quite the length I’d have preferred.
-I liked the fact that he tells how to use MSN and Yahoo to build traffic instead of trying to please the insatiable Google algorithms.
-Also, he warns people not to post more than 3 times per day on blogger blogs because they’re cracking down on blog spam and multiple posts per day will be flagged for checking by a human blogmeister.
-Unlike many robobloggers, he is advocating putting REAL content up for which I commend him.
-”Passionate” bloggers will find tips and techniques to improve the odds of earning income… such as what blogger templates seem to be favored by search engines.
-What free software helps you identify possible niches ?(if there’s one associated with your passion, why ignore it?)
-Are 3 keyword phrases a way to improve indexing speed? (Yes)
-WordPress or Blogger? (I was suprised by his answer really…)
It’s fresh.
I definitely learned more than I knew before.
And YES, I will be trying it out.
I need a non-internet related hobby anyway just to stay sane.

In your rationalization for purchasing
the eBook ‘Blogging to the Bank’, you mentioned that you needed a non-internet related hobby anyway just to stay sane.
I’m confused. Isn’t blogging Internet related?
Perhaps it’s too late.

Bob,
By that I meant that
1. This course is best for promoting non-internet marketing affiliate products.
2. Ideally, I think, they should be in areas you already have a passion for so your blogging won’t become drudgery.
3. That’s where mentioning a hobby came in.
4. So I meant pick up a non internet marketing/home business hobby to blog about.
Does that help explain?

Since the last question was almost a year ago I am wondering would you be willing to do an update about your experiences with B2Bank? I was / am most interested in your response Andrew’s question; but was disappointed that I could find none.
Have been looking for a way to make a living on the net for about 8 years with no success and don’t really know where to turn.
B2Bank sounds like a good option because I really enjoy writing.
Respectfully
