As some know, I send out a weekly recap by email of my favorite posts each week.
Hundreds have signed up for it at http://1stHowToWorkAtHome.com.
This is a fully opt in mailing list and I’ve never knowingly spammed anyone EVER.
To remind people they signed up, every email includes…
Their name, email, sign up date, and sign up IP address!
However about once every month, someone claims I spammed them.
Invariably it is an AOL user!
I hear AOL has a nice little button that allows the user to complain with one thoughtless click.
As soon as I am notified, I immediately unsubscribe them manually.
I don’t need the bother.
But it makes me wonder … are AOL users … more likely to be dumb? Or such free information addicts that they sign up for everything and then think it’s all spam?
Just venting…

I’ve always thought AOL users are novices when it comes to the Internet. Why they opted in on your list beats me, unless you offered something for free, in which case they probably just went for the free offer and then became tired of receiving any other emails there after.
