David Purves has created an interesting little website.

It generates income via Google Adsense Revenue, Ebay Affiliate revenue (via Commission Junction) and Clickbank.

It’s designed to give web users an easy way to find what they want at ebay.

eBay Auctions - My cool little website features real, live eBay auctions in all categories and the links are embedded with your eBay affiliate ID. When someone clicks an eBay link on your site and buys something you make money. How cool is that?

eBay Misspelling Tool - Everybody loves finding misspelled eBay auction titles. It’s a great way to find products cheap. When someone uses the eBay Misspelling Tool and then clicks on to eBay your affiliate ID tags along. If they buy something from your link eBay cuts you a check. Awesome!

Now he’s making a clone of the site available. He provides hosting… you pay a one time fee and pay annual domain renewal fees.

Here’s the rub - multiple domains with the exact same content are not likely to benefit from free search engine traffic. Some search engines like Google may even ban them outright.

Websites with existing traffic may benefit though by giving their visitors ebay tools to find bargain products related to the information on their site that’s already getting customers to come.

Even if you don’t have a website, Purves offers a variety of methods to create your own proprietary traffic.
