Working Solutions, Plano, Texas, is taking applications at www.workingsolutions.com. LiveOps, Palo Alto, Calif., expects to bring on 8,000 new-home agents in 2006 through www.liveops.com/application.

A few outsourcers hire agents as employees, some with benefits. Alpine Access, Golden, Colo., at www.alpineaccess.com, expects this year to hire 6,000 to 8,000 agents. ARO Outsourcing, Kansas City, Mo., at www.callcenteroptions.com, expects to hire about 200 new agents in 2006, including some with insurance and auditing skills. VIPdesk, Alexandria, Va., (www.vipdesk.com) expects to hire 350 to 400 agents. O’Currance Inc., Salt Lake City, expects to hire about 600 Utah residents in 2006, through www.ocurrance.com. And IntelliCare Inc., Portland, Maine, a unit of PolyMedica Corp., Woburn, Mass., expects to hire licensed nurses as home agents in several states, through www.intellicare.com/about/careers.html.
