I did use the tipping technique for the first time, with a very cool result.

I need to check my mail (at my local mail center) and pay for another half a year.

I picked up some Lottery Tickets…. the one’s with a chance to win 3 million on TV (the Big Spin).

I asked the store clerk what she would do if I gave her 3 million dollars. Then I put the ticket in front of her.

Backwards.

No change of expression on her face.

Then I flipped the ticket over (where she could actually see what the ticket was), and I got the most INCREDIBLE Smile out of her….. ever.

She immediately became very chatty……. I’ve seen her there for the last Year and a Half, and I have never gotten more than a hello, and thank you from her.

There was a trainee or new manager behind her. I got a huge smile out of him too…. I’m going to tip him later, and others at the mail center, because I like the people who work there, and now I KNOW that I can get a better (faster) service from this organization, with this simple, low cost technique.

Time is money.
