I’ve been tracking Free Card Matrix.
One of their distributors sent this info about their “Phase 2″ where income is based on a percentage of the charges not just the distribution fees ordinarily paid to “place” the cards in your wallet.
He orginally posted it as a comment but I wanted to move it to a full post.

FCM Newsletter - A Sneak Peek at Phase 2
Everyone knows the true “Powerhouse” of FCM is Phase 2 - The Residual Swipe.
Without further delay, here is what all indications from the bank(s) tell us it will look like.
Level 1 (Personally Referred) - 0.10%
Level 2 through Level 4 - 0.07%
Level 5 - 0.09%
Level 6 through Level 10 - 0.07%

0.75% will flow through your 10 level organization per card transaction (purchase).
The percentages (%) above are based off each individual purchase with an FCM card in your organizational down-line through 10 levels.
We anticipate a release of 0.75% (or 75 basis points) of each individual transaction on a card per month.
Below is an example of the residual monthly earning potential.
Level 1 - 100 people - each spent $1,000 - $100.00
Level 2 - 500 people - each spent $1,000 - $350.00
Level 3 - 1,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $700.00
Level 4 - 4,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $2,800.00
Level 5 - 6,500 people - each spent $1,000 - $5,850.00
Level 6 - 10,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $7,000.00
Level 7 - 13,500 people - each spent $1,000 - $9,450.00
Level 8 - 20,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $14,000.00
Level 9 - 30,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $21,000.00
Level 10 - 45,000 people - each spent $1,000 - $31,500.00
Monthly Residual Earning from above example: $92,750.00
We need over 135,000 more cardholder associates to make this happen, and then the bank(s) will gladly turn on the “switch”.
I think this will be a great development when it occurs.
Please notice however that in the example, it assumes you have a downline of almost 131,000.
“Huge” MLM downlines are usually considered that size at 5,ooo or 10,000.
In this scenario, 10,000 people only fill the first 4 levels completely with 4400 in level 5.
At this level of recruiting, the monthly residual would be $3,950 through levels 1 - 4 and $3,960 for level 5 recruits for a total of $7,910.
I don’ t know anyone who’d turn away a check for $7,910 per month just because they couldn’t fill their matrix.
Still, recruiting a downline of this size requires a herculean effort and constant work.

Free Card Matrix phase 2 will definately be exciting, however, lets not forget about how great the plan is already.
Free Card Matrix President Mark Colyer and Vice President Anthony Uva have already increased the phase 1 pay plan by offering $5 on level 5 rather than the previous $2. This alone will be life changing for some.
By just concentrating on the first 5 levels instead of 10 you will find how significant this increase really is. Take for example if you just sponsored 5 reps and helped them do the same on down to level 5, hypothetically your 5th level alone would bring in $15,625.00 Now this does not sound like much now but look at the numbers if you sponsored more than 5 Lets say 10, 20 or even a 100. For a free program this is very doable.
As a seasoned networker and heavy hitter, after speaking with President Mark Colyer I am completely thrilled from the payout on the 5th level alone. This is a networkers dream. By bringing in 100 referrals who only referred 5 hypothetically your 5th level would generate $312,500.00.
Those of you who have been around network marketing understand the 80 - 20 rule. This is where 20% of the company generally recruits 80% of the overall reps. So if only 20% of the 5th level in the above paragraph worked, your still looking at $62,500.00 with the 20% only gathering 5 and so on. Even 10% would be enough for some to quit their day job and remember this is only the 5th level alone.
From my conversations with President Mark Colyer the background and integrity of this company are outstanding as it took 3 years of developement prior to launch. More often companies that start up do not have the bugs ironed out in their systems or even have a replicating page offered at this timming. According to our conversation nearly 25,000 reps were gathered in roughly the first 7 months alone.
The beauty of this business model is everybody is a prospect. What I mean by this is your target market is just about everybody that you know.
Take for example if you were in nutritionals. In order to succeed at a profound level you would need to target either other reps who are alredy consumming nutritional product or end users who consume nutritional products in which some of them later become reps.
The question with FREE Card Matrix is who is not your target market. Since the program is free with no outragous start up costs and renewals not to mention the products you would normaly buy on a month to month basis to qualify for pay. This one is considered to me a no brainer. You would also keep a higher retention rate considering the factors above. If you think about it, who would quit?
When you are dealing with a target market in a traditional business it is much more difficult let alone the overhead. Here is a good example of a traditional target market, Let’s say that you owned a topee store. Who is your target market? Most people would answer bald people when indeed they are wrong and missing the mark. Your target market would simply be people who have purchased a topee in the past. You see concetrating on who your target market is makes the difference in becomming successful.
This alone I believe will seperate Free Card Matrix from the pack. Asking somebody now days if they have a credit card is like asking them if they own a toothbrush.
In my opinion all reps should concentrate on phase 1 and get a large dynamic team built before phase 2 hits. Going into phase 2 with an existing downline will create instant leverage overnight.

I love how you can be your own downline, without costs. Yes, I signed up under myself and then under myself again. Each time getting a card. I needed one for my business, for personal use and one for a specific store that only takes a specific card
I plan to get more and build my levels further if opportunity warrants that.
I also have set up a Free Card Matrix Rotator that allows anyone in my network to get their referral link rotated on my site. My advertising results in direct building of their downline. No costs for it either. Just a way I hope to help us all.
