Spy Moms _- Private Investigators

From Home Business Magazine

Chalk it up to maternal instinct. Or, maybe they really do have eyes in the back of their heads. No matter how you explain it, moms seem to have an uncanny knack for extracting the truth out of people, sensing potentially-dangerous situations, and even finding that missing sock lurking behind the washing machine.

Valerie Agosta and Mollie Carman are two middle-aged suburban moms from Boise, Idaho, who have capitalized on their strong intuition and mystery-solving skills. They are the founders of Hanady Investigations (www.HanadyInvestigations.com), a home-based private investigation firm serving all of Idaho and part of Oregon.

These modern day “Charlie’s Angels — armed with hidden cameras, binoculars, stun guns, and disarmingly non-suspicious personas — can track down a long-lost relative or find out if your spouse really is just getting a beer with the guys on Monday nights. They regularly perform background checks, adoption searches, child custody surveillance, and insurance fraud investigations.

Valerie and Mollie, who have seven kids between them, started doing undercover detective work four years ago. “I needed to be home with my kids and I wanted to do something interesting and fun, and something I knew that I would be good at, says Mollie, a former gymnastics instructor.
