I haven’t used any of the auto posters out there because the overwhelming consensus is that they just don’t work. Well, they may work but the vast majority get pulled or flagged before long.

There are simple strategies that you can use without using software.

I agree with the previous poster, usfreeads.com is a great way to go, especially if what you’re mostly interested is backlinks.

I have developed a research report useful to anyone wanting to study the demographic characteristics of all the 289 areas served by a Craigslist Website in the US. See my website: http://www.aMillionPlaces.com I used GIS software to geolocate the urbanized areas served by each CL website, then extracted the zipcodes, census tracts, and over 40 variables for each area. I also created three large maps of the US with all the sites located and hyperlinked - a great tool for figuring out which sites to post to. The reports also have sorted lists, by population, amountg of posting activity, etc - these help prioritize which Craigslist websites to post to to reach your particular audience/customers. I thought craigslist was the way to go, I have been promoting for years on myspace. Just bought a program from a site http://www.myspacefriendbomber.com . They have a program that markets to millions. It does a great job adding friends to myspace.

I’ve never posted an ad on Craigslist, but have been reading up on it and I like the looks of that semi-auto posting software you mentioned. However according to Chuck to stay within their guidelines you have to have different ads in every city where you make a post and that software from EasyAdPoster.com doesn’t appear to do that so would that not just get your IP addressed banned or just get all your ads removed?

Can Criagslist be used effectivly to build an Opt-in list for a health site?

I post hundreds of ads daily for myself and for customers. Most of what I do is geo-specific, so I don’t need a poster. But on occasion I have a client that needs to blast to all areas. There is a brand new product out call EasyAd. There is a program to post automatically, confirm automatically, and my favorite, a program that removes ANY ad from Craigslist.
