Sales Warrior says … “Never let the guy on the front line be able to lower the price….
“If the person making the sale has the discretion to sell an item for $100 or $29.95, you get alot of $29.95 sales when you should have been making $100 sales.”
So how do you handle that I ask?
“Me personally, I’d say… Is cutting the price $100 really going to change your life and make all the difference in the world?
“Usually it doesn’t. So I’ll offer better terms, but not lower the price.
“I tell the salesmen, when you get to ‘no’ before you leave, you let them talk to me. Do what you have to do, but call me so I can have a crack at him.”
Sometimes I make the sales, sometimes I don’t but we don’t end a session with “let me think about it and come back later.”
