How To Start A Carrier Call Business

December 8, 2005 by Chuck | 0 Comments

From Business Idea Factory (paid registration required)…

It started as a way for a guy who retired with a bad back from the construction industry to stay sane, so he took a part time job delivering newspapers… as a contractor, he’d been used to getting up with the roosters.

Soon he learned the number one reason that carriers quit their jobs.

For many, it’s because they never know when the darn newspapers are going to arrive!

They get burned out freezing or cooking alive in their cars (depending on the time of year) while HOPING the truck comes soon.

At first, he offered to call his buddy when the truck finally came.

Soon this friend said…”It’s not fair for you to be here all the time… how can I help?”

From this evolved the idea of being paid to call all the carriers.

Skip quickly found that 102 out of 155 carriers would gladly pay 50 cents per day to be notified just when the truck carrying their newspapers left the loading dock.

Read it all under “Business Start Up Manuals” (paid registration required)…

Note for future readers: this manual will not be available after Februay 2006.
