It’s hard work to operate a hotel, a day spa and a day care all in one – but one local couple is up to the challenge.
What’s unique about this hotel is its clients. They all have four legs.
Carola and Rick Adams operate Dutch Kennels in Noonan.
“It’s not a job for someone who likes to travel.” “In order to get away, we have to make sure we have somebody we can trust to look after the kennel,” said Rick.
“We don’t have big deadlines to meet or the pressure of a boss to this or that,” she said.
“The biggest pro I find is the clients being so happy, especially when I’m grooming,” added Rick. “They’re really happy with the end product and end result.” They also enjoy watching the animals come to their kennel and you can see the animals are having a great time.
