“Can My Site Earn $10 Per Day From Adsense?”

November 22, 2005 by Chuck | 0 Comments

This is a question from a reader based on their reading of the free ebook Adsense Mint

I’ve read through the whole book, I believe I understand the concepts, but what I’m finding issues is with how to efficiently populate a site?

As I actually want to put something of use up on the internet and not just loads of links, I’m wondering how you manage to populate your sites that drive income?

I’m currently floating around a steady $3/day and while fantasizing is nice, I’m being realistic and hoping I could bump that up to, say $10/day. Would that be overly difficult to do?

Here’ s my answer… This shouldn’t be difficult at all, but it’s definitely not as easy as it once was.

It also depends on what niche you’re targeting. The less competition, the more clicks.

But also, if you have little competition… then the revenue generated per click will likely be lower.

I think a lot of sites that were “pumped out” to skim adsense revenue haven’t done as well as people hoped. They’re massive masses of duplicate content culled from free article directories and offer little unique content.

So the question is … can you generate the content or do you have to hire it done?

$10 isn’t unrealistic though for any niche. For some niches that’s just 1 click per day!

The question is what’s the cost of getting the traffic??

The cost is either in PPC traffic or the cost of cranking out pages … sweat equity… or paying for original content.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch!
