His meaning is starting to dawn on me however.

I was a little suprised this year when a friend told me he was doing a post card mailing to a thousand online generated customers.

What he’s doing is consistent though with marketers like Matt Furey who uses online advertising to generate leads by selling introductory packages and information (real books, not “ebooks”), serving as an affiliate for some exercise products he likes, and then selling larger courses as a back end.

While he loves the net for lead generation, he hates it for revenue.

He refuses to sell ebooks because they don’t command enough revenue for him… he makes larger margins by real paper books… (and they don’t get lost or spread around as easily as ebooks)
