So you’ve decided to make your fortune selling ebooks online?
How do you keep people from just taking your PDF file and selling it on Ebay or something.
One solution is to buy expensive software that creates ebooks you can “deactivate”.
They’re NOT in a format that most MAC users can use though.
Here’s what Andre Vas suggests…
Here’s how to protect your PDF from stealers…
Make sure you say CLEARLY right at the beginning of
your eBook in RED writing:“If you obtained this eBook from any other
source other then YOUR_NAME or YOUR_WEBSITE”,
then you are in possession of a STOLEN and
PIRATED copy.Report immediately to: YOUR_EMAIL
I offer major money rewards”
I’ve used above strategy for a long time and never ever
did I have a single incident of someone selling my eBooks.
Note: Ebay is cracking down on people who sell things for which they have no resale rights. Some sales still are made this way however until they’re caught.

I just wanted to say thank you. There are expensive programs, systems to keep your ebook from being pirated, but this is a nice, simple approach that is easy for anyone to do. I appreciate your help, I’ve been selling my own ebook on ebay so this REALLY comes in handy for me.
