Are There Any Legitimate Stay At Home Businesses Anymore?

Sometimes it seems like every “Work At Home Opportunity” is a scam. Are there ANY satisfied customers “out there” using the information sold online to make decent money (even part time)?

I was searching some forums to answer this question. These folks will usually speak their minds freely and aren’t afraid of calling even legitimate programs scams if they don’ t think a program “delivers”.

Here was one unsolicited reply I found who wasn’t an affiliate for any particular business titled “The Baby Newspaper Business Works” at Friends In Business… (Typographical errors retained!)

I will say that Terrance has a great program. For example, Not too long ago, I sold a Giant POster sized baby paper for $50. THe frame cost me about $4 and Kinkos blew up the pix for about $18. I made $28. I also did a customized candybar wedding. I made over 200 bars for the wedding. I am getting ready to work on a candybar birthday party and the same person wants some for Christmas.

I will be honest though, I Haven’t really pushed the biz too much and it was as simple as just passing out some freebies and hanging a baby paper of my son in my cubicle. People see that stuff and ask questions. His business has a candybar template and Newspapers.

I highly recommend his program. ALso, I am not being paid to promote his items and I have no affiliation. I am just pleased with his opportunity.

Remember, no business works unless YOU do.

When we think about a business opportunity, it’s easy to visualize spending the checks… hard to visualize doing the work.

If you can visualize yourself doing the work - in this case communicating with folks who might be interested - then there’s a good chance the business will “work” for you.
